Insurance valuations

It is vitally important you keep your jewellery items up to date with the current prices. Most insurance companies recommend you update your valuation every 3-5 years. It is worth asking your insurance company how often they wish to see the updated prices and what is the entry level price for declaring specific items.

How much and what you get

For Insurance Valuations we charge 2% + VAT of the total value of the items. This covers the full written descriptions, photos of all the items and a polish and clean.

For Probate Valuations we charge 5% + VAT of the total value of the items. This is slightly more than the Insurance Valuation as the prices are lower.

No appointment necessary

You can pop into either store when you are ready. We aim to get the valuation completed within the week, but this may vary from time to time as we get very busy with valuations. You are more than welcome to call us before to get an idea of turn around time.
